WMCC works with churches, agencies and individuals to meet any need individuals present, but is very focused on housing and energy needs. We have been able to "recycle" mobile homes, fixing up and giving four away to families in the past years. We collaborate with other agencies to provide housing and we have obtained state and federal contracts to assure that entitlement programs are available to persons in need. These funds enable the staff to provide assistance with utilities, rent/mortgage payments and food. We also assess energy needs for individual homes, educate people on energy conservation and provide funding to upgrade the energy available to the home.
